Health and safety considerations reinforce all Alpha Cladding & Roof Maintenance Ltd projects, large or small. Every project is supported by site and task specific risk assessment and detailed safe working method statements. Alpha Cladding & Roof Maintenance Ltd commits to all legal safety requirements and approved codes of practice, in addition we will take all additional safety measures that our customers, or we as a company, deem necessary.

Alpha Cladding & Roof Maintenance Ltd site operatives attend regular health and safety training courses, including:

  • Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) - Demonstrating that the operative has attained an agreed level of occupational competence. All Alpha Cladding & Roof Maintenance Ltd operatives carry CSCS cards, CSCS was set up to help the construction industry improve quality and reduce accidents.

  • Work At Heights - Falls from height can cause serious or even fatal injuries. The knowledge gained on this course helps Alpha Cladding & Roof Maintenance Ltd operatives to stay safe when required to carry out work at height, by ensuring they are fully aware of the dangers of working at height and an understanding of how these hazards are assessed and controlled.

  • International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) - Promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment, providing technical advise and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards through it's safety initiatives and training programmes. 

  • Prefabricated Access Suppliers And Manufacturing Association (PASMA) - Training for the safe use of mobile aluminium scaffold towers, it provides and oversea the industry standard training scheme and its major publisher of safety-related knowledge, information and guidance.

  • Asbestos Awareness Category B - Designed for persons whose work involves knowingly disturbing asbestos containing materials (ACM's) that are categorised as non-licensed. This training course provides our operatives with the skills to identify the possible location of the asbestos containing materials together with the skills and understanding of recognised removal techniques.
